Paisley Vintage Dresser & Rose Water Stencilled Wall
MATERIALS USED
- Fusion Mineral Paint “Paisley”
- Fusion Furniture Clear Wax
- Fusion TSP Cleaner
- Fusion brand flat brush
- Sandpaper
- Natural finish wood moulding
Prepping for painting.
To prepare a piece for painting and to ensure good adhesion, always clean your furniture piece with Fusion TSP and water. Once cleaned, then sand. Always best to do it in this order. If you were to sand first, you could embed any grease that may have been on your piece. Once scuff-sanded, wipe again to remove any excess dust.
Painting with Fusions Paisley
To makeover this vintage dresser, we applied two coats of Fusion Mineral Paint “Paisley”.

Styling your piece
At this point you’re all finished- if you want to accent your piece or increase the sheen you can add wax or another top coat but this isn’t

To make this dresser a little more interesting, we added natural wood moulding on the bottom and replaced the hardware with new ceramic ones.

Rose Water Stencilled Wall:
- TSP cleaner
- Fusion Mineral Paint “Rose Water”
- Stencil of your choice
- Staalmeester paint pan & roller brush
- Frog Tape
- Paper towels
Feature Wall with Rose Water from Fusion
Clean your walls if they’re dirty. Vacuum and clean your wall with TSP cleaner.
Make sure you have a straight edge to ensure straight lines when stencilling. Tape your stencil to the wall.
Choose your paint colour. Roll your roller brush in the pan and offload most of the paint. You want your roller to be almost dry to ensure no paint seeps from the stencil. Roll the paint over your stencil.
